An effective tool to expedite standard business processes associated with Tendering and Reverse Auctions.

This is an Internet based application used by purchasing departments to obtain the lowest possible bid while ensuring a wide and efficient distribution of Tenders and Expression of Interests.

bidfire can be provided on the basis of a Managed Service or Licence Agreement.

Overview

Creation and online distribution of the initial Contractual Requirements by the Purchasing Team:

·         Expression of Interest and Invited Expression of Interest, where only a selection of invited suppliers may view the Requirement(s).

·         Tender and Invited Tender, where only a selection of invited suppliers may view the Requirement(s).

·         Auctions.

Upon creation of a Contractual Requirement bidfire notifies the relevant Suppliers (via email).

Suppliers can logon and respond to the above-mentioned Contractual Requirements via the Internet. The Purchasing Team can subsequently view the Supplier’s response.

Contractual Requirements may be augmented by Supporting Documents which can be uploaded by the Purchasing Team and/or the Supplier.

Contractual Requirements may be distributed on an unrestricted basis to all Suppliers or on restricted bases, only to an invited set of Suppliers.

The Purchasing Team can create one or more online Auctions, monitor their progress in real time and choose their preferred bid.

The Purchasing Team can manage the Supplier user community via easy to use administrative facilities.

A Q&A facility is provided allowing Suppliers to raise questions to be answered by the Purchasing Team.

Facilities are provided for recycling the existing Contractual Requirements.

bidfire users are password-protected and all Internet communication is secured via 128-bit SSL.
